Safia Ishrak is a dedicated researcher and academic in Applied Linguistics and English Language Teaching (ELT), currently serving as a Lecturer in the Department of Humanities at Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology (RUET). She completed both her MA in Applied Linguistics & ELT and her BA in English at Jahangirnagar University, Dhaka. In recognition of her academic excellence, she was awarded the University Merit Scholarship.

Her research primary focuses on corpus linguistics, computational linguistics, informal digital language learning, language assessment, generative AI integration, and digital discourse analysis. She also worked as a University Research Assistant (2024–2025) for a UGC-funded project in the Faculty of Arts and Humanities at Jahangirnagar University, where she contributed to academic research, literature reviews, and conference preparation. In addition to her pedagogical expertise, she possesses strong analytical skills in IBM SPSS and STATA.

At RUET, she is committed to advancing the university’s academic vision by integrating humanities, language, and critical inquiry into engineering education—equipping future engineers with the nuanced communication skills essential for professional excellence and lifelong success.
