Md. Al-Riad Tonmoy is a Lecturer in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at Rajshahi University of Engineering & Technology (RUET), Bangladesh. He earned his Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Materials Science and Engineering from RUET in 2025. Before that, he completed his HSC in Science from New Govt. Degree College, and his SSC in Science from Rajshahi Collegiate School.  His undergraduate thesis, titled "Development and Characterization of PDMS-Based Self-Cleaning Nanocomposite Coatings for Photovoltaic (PV) Module Application," focused on the design, synthesis, and characterization of advanced nanocomposite coatings for enhancing the performance and durability of photovoltaic modules. His research interests encompass nanomaterials, nanocomposites, renewable energy (solar and hydrogen), fuel cell materials, advanced functional coatings, and sustainable materials for energy and environmental applications. His current research emphasizes the synthesis, processing, characterization, and application of functional materials for clean energy technologies. He has authored several research articles and book chapters published in peer-reviewed international journals, conference proceedings, and edited volumes.
